The Allie Elle Label all started with a pen, paper, and dream for designing. With hand-me-down art supplies and a gifted sewing machine, Allie Elle was born.

Allison Turner is a Baltimore based illustrator, textile designer, and seamstress. Allison has studied painting and illustration since the age of fourteen, and spends most of her time between her full time career, commissioned art pieces, and her label, Allie Elle.

The Allie Elle label has had collections featuring swimwear, art prints, accessories, and home decor. Each piece is inspired by the world around us. The AL range has shown hand illustrated botanical textile designs, featured on swimsuits, all the way down to botanical watercolor prints.

Allie Elle pieces are carefully designed, sewn, and shipped from my home in Baltimore. Considering each piece is hand made solely by my hands, there is a slight difference in each, reflecting its individual touch.
Art prints are hand illustrated at our home, and printed on Arches Cold Press watercolor paper, using archival ink. Oh and, I ship using only compostable packaging. How cool is that?

Ever since I can remember, I've been an artist. I've dabbled with many different mediums and subjects until I stumbled upon my love for watercolor paints and architecture. With my grand-mom being a watercolor painter and my dad being a brick layer, I put the two together to find my niche.

In 2018, I started a small swimwear label called Allie Elle. For two years, I illustrated custom fabric designs to turn into hand-sewn original swimsuits. This little label flourished for four wonderful collections until I took a step back in 2020 to focus on myself and my art.

I've been painting custom House Portraits since 2019. I found love in showcasing your beloved family homes or your very first home purchase. I also enjoy painting store fronts, pets, and plants to name a few.

I fell in love with Baltimore architecture. I practiced architectural photography in college and turned the subjects I love to photograph into the subjects I love to paint. Then, I fell in love with brick in general.
